How we source
SEC filings are the spine — Form D primary docs, Form ADV PDFs, 10-Ks, 10-Qs that name the sponsor as a counterparty. Pension-fund holdings reports (CalPERS, OCERS, NM SIC, the Canadian Maple 8) supply institutional commitment data. Court records (CourtListener, PACER, DOJ press) surface enforcement and class actions. Sponsor-website claims are tagged “per sponsor” so readers can distinguish marketing from regulatory disclosure.
